Constructivist Philosophy

Constructivist teaching is when students are encouraged to learn by doing activities, solving problems, and working together. This method believes that students learn best when they are actively involved in the learning process. Teachers who use this approach guide students through learning rather than just giving them information. The key idea is that students learn better when they are engaged in their own learning and can connect new information to what they already know.

INNOVATIVE STYLE

Thematic Instructional Strategies

Thematic instruction is a teaching method that centers on a main theme and connects it across different subjects like language arts, social studies, science, and math. By doing this, students can grasp how these subjects relate to one another in real-life situations. Thematic instruction often involves practical tasks, projects, and conversations to involve students in valuable learning moments. This method promotes critical thinking, solving problems, and creativity, enhancing students' comprehension of the theme studied.

“We perceive the world through more than our eyes and ears; we smell, we touch, and we taste.”
