A Timeline of Excellence
CHIME Charter Elementary
The success of the early childhood program, coupled with the needs of the community and sound research, prompted a group of parents and Cal State Northridge faculty to develop a charter elementary school in 2001
CHIME Charter Middle School
The success of the Elementary Charter School prompted the CHIME Board to found a charter middle school in 2003.

- The elementary school named California Charter School of the Year

Charter School of the Year
- CHIME was named California Charter School of the Year for the second time.
