Ms. Sam Bekerian joined the CHIME Institute Board of Directors in 2004. After completing his education in Business Administration/MIS, Samuel with a partner embarked on his first entrepreneurial venture (the “partnership”) by opening and managing two restaurants, from 1984 to 1988. After selling the restaurants, the partnership started a new cosmetic company Naimie’s Film And Television Beauty Supply, specializing in the entertainment industry. After five years, the partnership established a new division Cosmochic; a professional skin care distributor serving the Salon and Spa industries successfully for a decade, which was acquired by a national distributor. In 1995, Sino Management was established as an investment holding company for the partnership, which Samuel continues to serve as the President/CFO.

Naimie’s Beauty Center opened a larger second location in 1998, which encompasses Salon and Spa services in addition to the existing retail business. Samuel is also an active partner/CFO in Paramount Investment Group a financial investment company, which was established with additional group of investors. In 2002, the partnership was incorporated and also acquired a new company Burman Industries; an established chemical supply company serving the entertainment and art industry with mold making and casting materials. This year, Burman Industries was relocated to a larger facility, which was acquired and built in order facilitate the growth of the company. Samuel, President and CFO, leads a team of over 60 dedicated employees. Samuel is a parent of two daughters ages 8 and 4 as well as a 5-year-old son with Down syndrome who attends CHIME Kindergarten Program.
